Ellen has been part of the arboricultural industry for the last 16 years. Her roles have included working in local government as a tree officer at county and more recently, district level.

She’s also worked in consulting, delivering arboricultural advice for infrastructure projects such as utility and highway schemes for housing developments. 

Ellen has also been involved in developing planting schemes, surveying arboricultural assets and assessing tree risk. She is passionate about providing sound arboricultural advice to a range of clients including specialist experience working with schools and universities. 

Ellen gained her MSc in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry at Myerscough College and is a Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association. Ellen is also the secretary of the Arboricultural Association Midlands Branch and a member of the AA’s Women in Arboriculture working group.
